Los tratamientos Intervencionistas Mínimamente Invasívos guiados con imágenes Médicas por Radiología Intervencionista como Trombectomía Angioplastia Stent requieren protección para evitar o limitar los Tromboembolismos al pulmón. Sobretodo en pacientes frágiles con poca reserva cardio pulmonar.
