Los tumores en el cuello tiene entre sus diagnósticos diferenciales diferentes estirpes celulares algunos hipervasculares de localización para carotidea como los glomus. Estos tumores tienen gran vascularización debido a la cercanía con las estructuras arteriales tan importantes para la cabeza y el cuello Por lo cual revisten gran dificultad quirúrgica y tienen altísimo riesgo de sangrado, muchos de estos tumores tanto los Glomus carotídeos como otros paragangliomas así como tumores nasofaringeos pueden ser tributarios de manejo con embolización prequirúrgica o incluso manejó paliativo con embolización, en pacientes que no pueden ser llevados a cirugía. Se presentan algunas imágenes. Caso grupo clínico neuro intervencionistas NeuroRICMO clínica Medellín occidente.
